There are, however, some issues with the information in the space that need to be resolved. This is a group interaction design project with the goal of making the user experience more meaningful for the visitor and making the information in the space more accessible and engaging. The biggest challenge of the project was that none of the casts in the Hall could be moved, and so we had to do a bit of problem solving. alternative energy education nonprofit. The goal of the company is to educate people about the different energy options at their disposal which will help them save money in the long run, as well as conduct free home evaluations. The purpose of this project is to break down the scientific jargon associated with alternative energy into digestible information made available to the average joe. Through the website, booklets, posters and other pieces of the GreenSwitch project, the viewer can learn the basics about alternative energy as well as cheap and easy ways to go green in their everyday lives. The challenge was to achieve this feeling for each individual CD as well as to hold the set together as a cohesive whole. Through a series of typographic exercises, I experimented with scale, color, position, and image until coming upon a final direction for the set of covers to go in. The content of this handmade book is a collection of quotes that both argue for and against introverts and extroverts. As the book continues the reader realizes that neither is better than the other, rather, a well-balanced person is a healthy combination of the two. The book contains old family photographs mixed with a more modern slab serif (serifa). This juxtaposition of the old and new is meant to express that people have always had introvert and extrovert tendencies and always will. This project taught me a great deal about gathering and editing content, expressive typography, and the integration of type and image.
